THE FULLY FAMILY

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”John 10:10

Jesus gives life to the full. We are formed in Christ, trained to become like our Teacher, and filled with the Spirit to lead and serve others.

THE LEADED PATHWAY

See potential.
Develop people.

From noticing an emerging leader to helping them develop others. Six connected practices from the LEADED Staff Playbook.

L01

Look for Leaders

Pray and notice faithfulness, initiative, teachability, and relational trust. Keep two to five emerging leaders in view.

E02

Evaluate

Discern character, calling, chemistry, and competency through a personal conversation. Agree on a next step: apprentice, wait, or redirect.

A03

Apprentice

Develop through relationship, content, practice, and feedback. Model a skill, give a real opportunity to practice, and reflect together.

D04

Deploy

Give a clear role, a definition of success, first 30–60 day goals, and a follow-up plan. Commission with care.

E05

Equip

Support long-term fruitfulness with coaching, prayer, leader huddles, and skill reinforcement. Address obstacles early.

D06

D-Group Leadership

Multiply disciple-makers through life-on-life relationships, Scripture, obedience, prayer, and mission. Develop the next person who can lead a group.

Prepare, Equip & Inspire

CHURCH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Prepare. Equip. Inspire.

A shared strategy for growing leaders, with personal coaching and practical tools alongside it.

Prepare

Prepare for the next leadership level through Mac Lake’s books, reflection, and a coach’s invitation.

Equip

Meet with peers four times a year. Prepare, practice a skill together, and follow through in ministry.

Inspire

Gather the church’s leaders around shared vision, with preparation and a meaningful response afterward.

PERSONAL GROWTH. SHARED WISDOM.

A next step,
with someone beside you.

Guided Development is your separate space for the 32 core competencies. Work with a coach on a skill, collect evidence, and review your progress.

Build your growth plan

Discover your calling

Reflect on APEST, your story, and where you are drawn to serve.

Practice one meaningful skill

Choose a competency. Take action. Record what you learn.

Grow with a guide

Share your plan with your coach and request a next-step conversation.

Questions & getting started

A simple beginning

Where should I start?

Choose one competency with your coach. Practice it in real ministry and bring evidence to your next review.

Does completing a level give me a role?

Preparation and appointments are separate. Your church leader recognizes your role; your coach helps you develop the competencies for it.
